Every State and Territory in Australia has in place the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&S) or have adopted the new Work Health and Safety Act 2011, which aims to protect the health, safety and welfare of people at work.
In these Acts, it outlines the duty of care to ensure workplace safety. In broad terms, each State and Territory embraces the OHS and WHS Acts and focusing specifically on the following: OHS Act 2000 “Employers must provide information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety of employees at work.’
When you pass your Yellow Card course, you will receive a license for the following machine types. Pricing of the Yellow Card depends on the classes you require.

Must be 18 years of age or over
Must reside in Victoria
Must provide Drivers Licence or other photo Identification which contains Photo, Date of Birth and Signature. (see ID list over page)
Basic English, literacy and numeracy skills at a level sufficient to read and interpret workplace documentation and carry out basic mathematical calculations
Must not currently hold an equivalent High Risk Work Licence (WP) from any jurisdiction in Australia
